For the seventh year in a row, Simply Group has been certified as one of the 50 Best Workplaces™ in Canada (100-999 employees) by Great Place to Work. This achievement is proof that our dedication to our employees and our focus on culture and a family-style workplace has truly made Simply Group a great place to work.
Global supply chain shortages for many products have been impacting industries since the start of the pandemic in 2020, caused by pandemic-related and economic issues in transportation, labor shortages, materials, rising demand, and shifting consumer spending patterns.
This is no small feat, and we owe it all to our employees, who play a crucial role in receiving this accolade. In order to be certified, Great Place to Work® spends two weeks surveying employees on their experience with the company, using its research-backed Trust Index survey. These survey responses are then combined with a detailed culture brief describing Simply Group’s programs and practices to determine if the company meets their certification benchmark, which is determined through 30 years of research by Great Place to Work. In other words, it’s our employees who decide if we are, in fact, a Great Place to Work®—it’s their desire to build and create something, to be part of a solution-oriented team, and having the creative freedom to take ownership in Simply Group that has made this possible.
